Anderson Engineering has an immediate opening for an Accounts Receivable Specialist/Project Coordinator. The position will be in charge of assisting our Project Managers in submitting and tracking approvals of our ongoing projects, and coordinating with our valued clients to encourage the timely collection of invoices. These tasks involve utilizing & maintaining a tracking spreadsheet to coordinate projects with our Design Staff, submitting project plans & documents to Municipalities/Reviewing Agencies with the goal of obtaining approvals/permits, tracking the submittal review status, following up with the Reviewer, relaying questions/comments/revision to our Design Staff, tracking completion of revisions by our Design Staff, and re-submitting to the Reviewers for project approval. To be successful, you will need to be able to work on tight deadlines, be competent in using Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel & Google Applications such as Calendar, Docs, Sheets & Drive, and have excellent & clear verbal and written skills.

Responsibilites of the position include:

  • Maintaining and monitoring project submittal schedules and invoices utilizing tracking spreadsheets
  • Providing administrative support as needed
  • Undertaking project tasks as required
  • Create a project managment calendar for fulfilling each goal and objective

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma 
  • Excellent & clear verbal and written skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Experience using PC computers for a variety of tasks.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Competency in Google applications including Calendar, Docs, Sheets & Drive.
  •  Knowledgeable file management, record keeping, and other administrative procedures.
  • Ability to work on tight deadlines
  • General administrative abilities

In addition, applicant must have the ability to work effectively in a team environment, be self-motivated and customer service oriented. Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills is a necessity.
