Anderson Engineering has an immediate opening for a Structural Project Engineer/Manager with experience with bridge design projects.
Responsibilities may include:
Preparation of construction documents
Estimating quantities & construction costs
Construction phase services
Applicant must have the ability to work effectively in a team environment, be self-motivated and customer service oriented. Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills is a necessity.
B.S. in Structural Engineering
4+ years bridge design experience desired
Licensed PE required
3 to 10 years experience designing in bridge structures preferred, but not required
Experience using calculation and/or structural design software
Ability to understand construction concepts and how components work together
Familiarity with interpreting engineering contract documents and codes
Mostly office based, with occasional inspections or field activities
